With a fairly heavy heart – and curse words that would make a sailor blush – I said my final goodbye to the Smoktech ZMax this week. It has been thrust into “the box” as a backup, should something catastrophic happen and I need something to hold me over until things straighten out. But it can no longer function as my first line device any longer.
Let me explain.
First off, here is what my ZMax now currently looks like, taking the above image into account (the above image was taken the day I bought it, and the finish is …Read more
I’m just going to go ahead and post the official vaping review to save some folks some heartache.
As you have seen, we’ve had some issues. Last week, I picked up a LavaTube V2. Within hours it began having issues contacting and getting a hit, then stopped working all together. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. There is always going to be a lemon in the group.
So yesterday I drove back out to the shop I got it from and swapped it out for a new one, the store owner telling me he’s never seen this before. …Read more
A few weeks back I was sent a little setup from the crew at Maya vaporizers to test out. I spent a good long time with the kit, putting it through the standard paces to get a good review of the item.
The equipment I received was a starter kit, the kit pictured above. It comes with one battery (colors vary, pictured is blue), a top coil clear colored, disposable clearomizer, and a USB charger (it does not contain a wall charging unit, but this does fit in to other wall charging units available, and does very well charging off …Read more
So you may have noticed lately that some of the juice vaporizer reviews have included the use of EVOD clearomizer, and the photos of my Provari Mini include a photo of it as well. The EVOD seems to be the latest great thing, and I let a local dealer talk me into buying one, even with my relatively strong distlike for clearomizers.
So how is it? It’s a bottom coil clearomizer for vaporizers. Nothing else. It is, pretty much, just like every other clearomizer you’ve ever tried, just not as user friendly.
The color is a nice, creative touch, …Read more
Well, if you read my last post about vaporizers, you were awaiting my thoughts on the ProVari. It has been about a month since I let the folks on ECF talk me into finally getting one, and I settled for the Mini, for two reasons. The first reason was that it could share the batteries I’d already invested in for the ZMax, and the second being that I wanted something smaller than I had. The smaller size now allows me to carry it in the hard case I’d bought so long ago for the eGo Twist batteries, which was …Read more
I have had the ZMax now for just under a month, so I wanted to talk about it a little bit. Anyone who follows us on FaceBook and Twitter probably knows exactly when the issue started, but it has gotten worse.
For reference reasons, the tube is the “black” version, you can go to the below post to see how it should look. And to see how it looks now, just click the images above. Also… the cap on the bottom is stainless steel, so that isn’t part of the complaint.
To date, the ZMax is performing very well. Battery …Read more
I won’t call this the main review, but I wanted to bring this particular issue out as it happened. Generally, for equipment, I won’t do a review until I’ve abused it a little. 🙂
So about a week ago, I picked up a LavaTube as a celebratory gift (I got myself a job – and it was exactly what I was looking for – after having been out of work for a few months) and was tickled beyond words. I have been wanting something like this for a while now, but it has been out of the budget. I settled …Read more
OK, so from those pictures, you are probably going to assume this is going to be an ugly review, but what makes it interesting is that it is actually not going to be!
This happened sometime this afternoon. I have a basic idea of when – about the time it began burning when I was vaping, and I blamed bad batteries for it, and then blamed the cartomizers. I was on my way home from clothes shopping for a new job when the burning began. I didn’t notice anything at that time on the Artemas Tube.
Back up about …Read more
